A/Prof Kenneth Khoo has been working as a Physician Educator and Rheumatologist since 1996.
He completed his undergraduate degree at UNSW with Class 1 Honours in 1987. He did his rheumatology fellowship training at The Canberra Hospital and Royal Newcastle Hospital where he undertook his Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology. On completion of his fellowship training , he worked in Malaysia as a Rheumatologist in 1997 to 1998.
He completed his Diploma studies in Leadership and Clinical Management in 2019.
Dr Khoo is presently a VMO Senior Physician and Rheumatologist at North Canberra Hospital where he is the Director of Physician Training. He is an Honorary VMO Rheumatologist at Canberra hospital. He is actively involved in education of Physician trainees, ANU SMP students and mentoring Rheumatology Advance Trainees. He is a member of the RACP Rheumatology Advanced Training specialty training committee.
He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the ANU School of Medicine and Psychology and has been at Rheumatology ACT since its inception in 2013.
His clinical interest is in Inflammatory Arthritis, and Connective Tissue Disease in Asian populations, Medical Education, Clinical Leadership and Mentoring.
